Summer Program Opportunity

Summer Program Opportunity: Adventure Academy: Connecting Mind and Movement in Middle Schoolers A week long program for middle school students focused on athletics and the importance of Executive Function (organization, time management, planning, study skills, and more). Monday, June 22 – Friday, June 26, 2020, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Landmark College in Putney.

PROJECT FEED THE THOUSANDS:

Great work so far on Leland & Gray's Project Feed the Thousands Campaign! Please keep bringing in those non-perishable food items, personal care items, and pocket change. They really add up! Families wishing to make monetary donations should make checks payable to "West River Educational District" with "Project Feed" on the memo line. Checks and cash can be given to Ms. Doty in room B-4. Collection boxes will be in the following classrooms: 6th grade: Ms. Saunders' room 7th grade: Mr. Clark's room 8th grade: Ms. Hind's room 9th grade: Mr. Towle's room 10th grade: Mr. O'Donnell's room 11th grade: Ms. Rowan's room 12th grade: Ms. Doty's room office Keep up the good work, Rebels!

Celebrate 2020 Vermont Entrepreneurship Week!

Celebrate 2020 Vermont Entrepreneurship Week! Vermont students are invited to participate in the 10th annual 2020 Entrepreneurship Education Visual Media Competition Two Categories: Bumper Stickers & Mini YouTube Videos; students may enter in either or both categories. Submission deadline date of December 13, 2019 for the 2020 competition. 2020 Theme: “Vermont Entrepreneurs… Connecting Communities” Open to Students - Grades 9-12 Cash and other prizes! HOLIDAY BAZAAR 2019

Holiday Bazaar 2019 CORRECTION: Don't miss this year's annual Holiday Bazaar on Wednesday, December 11th and Thursday, December 12th from 7:30AM-2:00 PM in the C-1 classroom. The crafters and bakers from the ELC are busy making delectable confections and unique must-have gifts and decorations. This year's raffle is awesome; an Instant-Pot, a handmade cutting board and a surprise homemade goodie. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $5.00. Ticket sales start December 3rd and are available in the ELC Program classroom. If you can't make it down, contact us - we'll come to you! Looking forward to seeing all of you. Do you like to bake cookies and brownies?

Would you like to bake a batch for the Townshend Food Shelf's Christmas Baskets? From now until December 20th, bake a plate of cookies and /or brownies at home and bring them to school to Ms.Cissé in room A-7. We will use them to make up holiday cookie plates for the Townshend Food Shelf. Thank you in advance for your help in spreading the cheer and good will during the holidays.
